Visually track the status of your heart rate with LEDs wired in an open-drain circuit.
The Vernier Hand-Grip Heart Rate sensor can be used to monitor heart rate and perform many physiology experiments. In general, the monitoring occurs by studying chart data or computing beats per minute. In this activity, you will use one of the SensorDAQ digital output lines to create a visual monitor of the pulses generated by the heart. You will wire an LED circuit and write your own LabVIEW program to flash an LED when a pulse has been detected.
